I can't run Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta, it comes up with
"This version of Microsoft AntiSpyware has expired as of
July 5, 1931".
May be I should get an older comp.
anybody have any ideas.

.
SYSTEM RESTORE AFTER (JUST IN CASE) RUN DISK CLEANUP,
THEN DISK DEFRAGMENT, AND DOWNLOAD ANOTHER ANTI-SPYWARE
REMOVAL JUST TO MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE A TROJAN THAT
HACKS INTO "MICROSOFT ANTISPWARE BETA 1"

I RECCOMEND NORTAN ANTIVIRUS OR MCAFFE, JUST MAKE SURE
YOU KNLY CHOOSE ONE AD NOT HAVE 2 ANTISPYWARE PROGRAMS
INSTALLED AS THEY MAY INTERFERE AND CAUSE PROBLEMS.

(NOT SURE IF IT MIGHT HELP..BUT FEEL FREE TO TRY!!)

Thanks, I have actually just re-formated and now have a
complete new OS (XP Pro) also running Avast
Antivirus/zonealarm pro/ and now useing adaware, but would
rather be using the Mic antispy.
thanks again.

I have just gone over all my regional settings includeing
curency then made sure they were all set to my local
country. now it loads and works fine.
Thanks all.

1) Please check your date, time, and timezone settings to be sure that they
are correct.

If they are, the issue is with the date format settings for the locale.

Since you've just reinstalled, you probably remember changing either the
long or short date format or both from the defaults, which should be the
first in the drop down box. Switch these back to that first choice.

This fix seems to work for most, but not all users here. The beta is
English only, and not localized, and there's quite a bit about such issues
that it doesn't understand.
