Is the same as a firewall? does this coincide with a
firewall at the same time? I am not sure.

Microsoft Antispyware does not include a firewall, nor does it substitute
for a firewall.

It also is not a substitute for antivirus protection.

You need all three items referenced here:

www.microsoft.com/protect

Microsoft Antispyware is an additional layer of protection beyond those
basics.

No it is not a firewall. A firewall controls traffic
going in and out of your PC. Antispy looks for known bad
guys installed on your system and removes them. It also
tries to prevent them from loading. In this way it is
similar to an antivirus. But you still need a separate
antivirus program.

.
no it´s not the same as a fire wall a fire wall prevents
an attack on your pc, antispyware only finds the rubbish
that is left on your pc after surfing the web without the
protection of a fire wall
