Antispyware will not load up at startup

Downloaded antispyware from Microsoft website.
Everything runs okay except that the program will not
load up at startup. I have the appropriate box checked
in the program to do so. Already attempted an uninstall
and reinstall to no avail. Any recommendations?

Let me be more specific: no antispyware icon is in the

lower right corner signifying that the program loaded up
on startup.
 
I have exactly the same problem. I have just completed an OS reinstallation. I previously had MS Anti-Spyware running okay at startup.

The only things I can think of at the moment are that I may have been running th eprogram from the same drive (partition) as the system - can't remember. Might try reinstalling on the same drive as OS.

The other is that I was running on FAT32 before and NTFS now.

Will post back if I find a solution.
 
Weird. Tried it again today and it loaded okay on startup!!

It might be that my virus scanner was interfering. I run Eset Nod32 and had not configured the IMON setup, http tab, client compatabilityfor 'Higher efficiency' for this program.

This is the only thing that I can think might have been causing this.
