XP Pro SP2
Dual monitors, each on own nvidia card

The MSAS pop-ups in the main display float vertically up
the screen & then out of sight. Comical, but stops my
productivity since I can't get them back to click on the
allow button... have to kill the whole shootin' match in
task manager to get my work done after these windows fly
into space. Anyone else seen this?

Ensure that the Taskbar is placed at the bottom of the screen and it will
stop re-appearing.

I also have the "float up the right side of the screen and disappear"
problem, only I'm not using dual monitors. I can see the pop-ups using
the alt-tab powertoy but can't bring them back onto the desktop. I've
installed MSAS (plus the update from a week ago) on three machines (two
VAIO laptops: R505JEP, FS550P; and a home-brew ASUS desktop box with an
Athlon). All three exhibit this problem and all three have the task bar
on the left hand side. I tried your suggestion of moving the taskbar
back down to the bottom of the FS550P but no joy ... still have the
float up and away pop-up problem.

Is there another work-around for this ... say, manually editing
something in the registry to allow the particular batch file (e.g.,
cygwin.bat) or unknown program file (e.g., Microsoft Frontpage,
Socketwatch) to run?

Putting the taskbar on the botom or the top of the screen is the current
fix. If that doesn't work you are the first to report it. Put your taskbar
on the bottom and logoff / logon and see what happens.
