Antispyware does not appear to remove internet shortcuts that continuously
reappear on my c:drive.

How do I remove these internet shortcuts permanently?

No. When I go int START and open "my computer" and check the contents of the
hard drive I always have a number of "internet shortcuts" for unwanted
websites. I delete them, but they reappear the next time I start my
computer.

Please advise if you can help me permanently delete these.

Thank you!!!!

It sounds like you've got one or more viruses that establish those
"shortcuts" each time you power up. Try running a thorough virus scan - it
you've got options, pick the most thorough one available. If that doesn't
work, try restoring your computer to a date PRIOR to when this started to
happen.

Frank,

I've run the ms antispyware a number of times and I've tried to reconfigure
my settings to a previous date (long ago) before I had this problem. Neither
of these has worked. Can you recommend a paid-software product that can
specifically remove this form of malware?

Thank you!
