Antispyware failure

I rebooted win 2003 server today. Antispyware beta failed. Got error -
Unexpeded error: quitting (twice).

Uninstalled Antispyware and downloaded latest copy. Installed again. Same
results.

With the initial reboot the computer froze. Think something devious is going
on and disabling protection.

Any suggestions on getting antispyware working?

Try installing to a non-default location instead such as c:\msas

Andre,

I did that and still have the problem. Also, uninstalled and removed
directory then reinstalled.

Try rebooting after uninstalling MSAS and then reinstall the app.

If that doesn't help, try using the Windows Installer Clean UP utility
(http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe)
to remove all the Windows Installer files related to MSAS, reboot, and then
reinstall MSAS.
