Since this is a Beta Version and as I suppose open to
comments for improvement I would recommend to Microsoft
that the Errors Log be designed to be self purging as its
size, which continues to grow is a real annoyance.

Yes, it does get big after a certain period, only recommendation right now
is to delete the log and uninstall/reinstall the latest build of Microsoft
AntiSpyware.

Also send the errors.log in c:\program files\microsoft antispyware to
(e-mail address removed)

Andre--please don't ask everyone to send this file in. Particularly if they
are posting here because the file is very large!

If you are experiencing Error 101, 102, or 103 from Microsoft Antispyware,
submitting the errors.log file to (e-mail address removed) will be helpful.
Otherwise, please don't!

Bill, then tell me why on my Dell Dimension 8300 Pentium
IV the file will grow to over a GigaByte in a few days,
but on my Compaq Prosignia Pentium III it never has
gotten over 5 KB in several weeks. They are both
scheduled to Scan weekly. Why should there be any
difference? I installed AntiSpyware on both computers at
the same time from a Download.

Hey--I'm not on the development team.

I don't know the root cause of the "file growing too fast" syndrome. I've
seen it myself, on a server, and know that it isn't pretty.

My advice if you see this issue and don't feel like riding herd on the file
is to uninstall and re-test when a further build is released.
