AntiSpyware Beta Schedule bug.

The anti-spyware scheduler seems to convert any time to AM regardless of what
you enter. e.g. enter 21:30, the scheduler says 'OK' then promptly sets the
scheduled time to 09:30. Think you need to allow the scheduler access to the
whole 24-hours of a day guys!

I've reported this as a bug to Microsoft USA and they've kindly forwarded it
to support here in the UK.

This bug will not be fixed before beta2, it appears.

Here's the workaround:

Set your Windows Language setting to English (United States)

Schedule the scan for the time desired.

Set your language setting back to your normal choice.

The scan will remain scheduled for the time you've chosen.

i have the same problem but i dont know how to change the language setting

pleasecould u tell me
thanks

Start, control panel, date,time....... , then choose Regional and Language.
On the Regional Options tab, the top box is the language setting for
Windows.

Hi Bill,

Your tip was very helpful and to take it further, it seems the applications
problem is with the 24 hour clock. If you keep your language to English
(United Kingdom) and just alter your time format to the 12 hour clock e.g.
AM\PM, then you can set the scheduler to what every want with out a problem.

Seems the Windows Language setting English (United States) has its time
format set 12 hour clock, hence why it works.

You're correct about the underlying issue. Describing how to change the
underlying clock format requires more steps than just describing changing
the language setting back and forth.

And, indeed--even with a setting of English (United States)--if you change
to a 24 hour clock, you'll hit the same bug.

But not for long--this will be fixed in beta2, available within the next
month and a half, or perhaps less!
