I'm having a hard time changing my default homepage. The current one is
totally locked in and I can't change the setting in the Browser Restore
settings. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Perry,

Try this:
In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > on the General Tab,
under Home Page in the Address: box, type in your desired homepage, click
Apply > OK.

In Microsoft AntiSpyware > Click on Advanced Tools > Browser Restore >
select "Start Page" > in the "Details" pane click the "Change restore setting
to a new url..." link , type in your home and press OK

I hope this post is helpful, let us know how it works ºut.
If this fails please post back.

Hey Engel!

I had already done everthing you've listed to no avail. Grrrrr! After I've
made the change in IE, it auto defaults back to the unwanted home page and it
looks like in the Beta, when I make the change there, it does the same kinda
thing I believe.

Before I try the posted suggestions, I had Verizon DSL as my ISP. I
uninstalled all their software and wanted to change my start page to my
current ISP. But the Verizon start page will not allow the change even tho
M'soft anitspyware registers the change and I allow it. I even went so far
as to go into the registry and made the change there and it still won't allow
it. What do u think?

Engel-

Actually the more I dig into this, the more it looks like Ad-Aware is the
culprit here. I'll address this issue with them to see if I get any results.
Thank you!
