I do find many Hosts files like : avsads.com; b3d.com ....... I want to block
or permanently remove these adresses, it seams that I need to do this 1 by 1
.....Is there a way to block or remove more than 1 at atime?
If yes , how to?

I have the feeling that some adresses I did block previously are back in the
list and unblocked. Is this possible?

What is the risk to block or remove these adresses?

Thanks in advance

These entries are a constant source of misunderstandings.

If what you are seeing is a list like:

127.0.0.1 nastybadmalware.site

You can safely leave these alone. They were put in place by some other
antispyware program as an "innoculation" to prevent your browser from
resolving those site names to their real addresses--i.e. they prevent you
from going there.

The difficulty with using the hosts file for this purpose is that malware
can also use it for a similar purpose. There are a number of viruses out
there that put the antivirus vendors sites in there for a similar, but
opposing purpose.

So--one way to deal with this is just to keep that file empty of all but the
single default entry:

127.0.0.1 localhost

A good tool that I believe has a button to do this easily, is Hoster:
