Not sure what it is (trojan, dataminer) but it pops a windows Security Center
window. It is clearly not from windows because after clicking it it sends u
to antispyware.com which is a pay fr sptware detection site. also changes my
home page to about:blank. Any tips or knowledge on this matter would be
greatly apprieated

As always, you should make sure that you have got a working system restore
point before you run any test.

Really?

MicroSoft's idea of fixing a home page hijack is a System Restore?
REALLY?

Boy, think of all the anti-malware and spyware folks you're going to put out
of business with that trick!

Why didn't someone think of that before?

How about TomCoyote or CastleCops?
