AntiSpy ignores my settings

Hi,

I always attacked with the same boring questions. It
seems that AntiSpy ignores my settings if I
select "allow"/"deactivate send to SpyNet" and "remember".

Some examples.
If I change the user from X to Y I always complaint that
the directory from "own documents" changed from the place
of X to the place of Y (why is this necessary).
I changed my startpage of IE to a page of my own. I said
that is o.k. and I also said "remember". But I asked for
that furthermore.
I have a startscript while logging on. So I answered that
the run of this script is o.k. and I also
said "remember". But no effect, I always asked the same
question once more if I log on.

Do I forget any configuration tasks or is it only normal ?

Regards
Karlheinz

I have the same problem. I set it to allow the security
agents at start-up but they are always disabled and must
be manually started plus a few other settings are ignored
even after the message that they were saved. I hope
someone can answer this one.

Give this a try:
Open up control panel and double-click on add/remove programs.
Select Microsoft AntiSpyware
Select "Change"
On the Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard, click next.
On the next screen (Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard) select Update
Microsoft AntiSpyware and click next.
Select Install
Let the product update.
Click Finish.

From Arianae:
If that doesn't work, try logging in with the
Administrator account. I've run into several issues
where even though my account is a member of the
Administrator group, only the Administrator account
itself has done the trick. As a matter of fact, I just
had to fix a disappearing XP clock with it even though
the user was an admin.

Thanks, I tried these suggestions but it still starts
disabled. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it to
no avail. Must be a conflict with another program. I
believe it started when I upgraded my firewall but am not
sure.
