I just noticed something interesting. I was trying to copy the contents of
a DVD data disk. There was on very large (4 Gb) file on it, which was a zip
file. When I tried to copy it down to my hard drive, it was running very
slowly. It showed 155 minutes to complete. I was trying to figure out how
to speed it up and so I killed the anti spy ware. Within a very short time,
the time remaining dropped from 155 to 15 minutes. It had basically read
155 for several minutes before canceling the anti spy.

I am not surprised it was MSAS fault why it took that long, thanks for
reporting it here though.

.
Antispyware uses 90-100% of "CPU" capacity and take me
more than 5 hours to scan 20G on a 80G hard drive at 1.5ght
