Anti virus

I installed NAV a few weeks ago after some problems I
uninstalled it and the problems are still there. I cannot
double click on anything, I have to right click and run
as then unclick protection (left by NAV) and ok. I think
I must have deleted the regestry if possible. I cannot
open control panel or anything from start\run.

There is an uninstall tool for NAV on www.symantec.com -
If this does not help:
Repair install of WinXP.
