Like to know more about bitdefender anti virus?

I use KAV.

AV-Test (Andreas Marx - Germany)
AV-Comparatives (Andreas Clementi - Austria)
Food for thought (Eugene Kaspersky)

Here are the preferences that I have gleaned from the various
security/paranoia NGs in which I hang out:

Free: AVG, Avast!, AntiVir
Paid: KAV, NOD32
Bottom of the List: Norton, McAfee

Note that these assessments are for AV apps for home/SOHO/personal
use. The same may or may not be said about the enterprise or corporate
editions. I have personally used McAfee, Norton, AVG and KAV. Some of
the knock I have seen against NAV and McAfee is bias (they're the big
guys), and some is from tests and personal experience. A good way to
learn about a product is to Google for "Product A Sucks", and see who
comes to its (Product A) defense, including the clowns and/or
knowledgeable experts.

However, the free on-demand version of Bit Defender has much better
detection rates than those. Also, there are free on-demand scanners
available which use the Kaspersky scan engine which are better yet.

But not "bottom" based on detection rates. Both are quite good in this
regard.

I don't recall seeing complaints about Bit Defender. It's one of the
better products I think.

Agreed. A new heuristic engine 'HIVE' allows proactive detection of
previously unknown malware also, not to mention the speedy work of
their virus lab in adding detection of new malware. It's an excellent
solution... although it can be a little unstable at times during
updates when the realtime protection is refreshed to load new
signatures.
