Hello:
Does anyone know of a program for scanning FAT32 or NTFS file systems
in dos. A program on a cd that is bootable. I have tried Linux
Defender a form of Knoppix. It seems that it works well but I am not
able to update it. It has the ability to read and write to a NTFS file
system. I have also tried Vexira Rescue Disks. It also seems like a
good program. When you load the update files onto a floppy and update
the program it says there are no update file on the floppy disk. It
seems that F-Prot is the only solution. It updates very easily but the
only drawback is it cannot scan a NTFS file system (or maybe it can
just read a NTFS file system, not sure). Anyone know of a program that
works with the NTFS file system and can be booted off of? Something
that can be updated?
