are there any good anti virus programs that are working with vista?

i've tried oncare but it seriously slowed my computer, any suggestions?

Thanx!

I've used both OneCare 1.5 and TrendMicro's Pc-cillin.

I like em both and haven't noticed slowdowns with either.

i really like OneCare... in fact, my experience is that my pc is much faster
than when I used Norton.

Interesting. I tried downloading OneCare but it wouldn't let me. Didn't
like the Windows Vista I'm running.

i think than all the anti virus programs are faster than norton...

i will try one care 1.5 or avast.

thanx!

avast! antivirus pro works on vista using the latest version (I've used it on the x86 version with no problems after installing their latest updates they have a free version which I assume also works although I have not tried it myself.
I have just installed the x64 Vista but have not tried the x64 avast! yet but I would assume that also works.

I've been running TrendMicro's, but you need to do a little tweaking as
to lessen the load under office 2007.

Otherwise runs just fine.

Avast would not load in RC2 for me, so I took adv of a Trend Micro trial.
Now Windows One Care works in Vista (Beta 1.5) and you can download and
install it. You can find them via search engines.
