Anti Spyware

I've had Microsoft Anti Spyware for several months and logged about 250
scans. All of a sudden I still automatically run a scan every evening, but
now a message in red says "you have not run a scan" even though a scan was
just completed. This has gone on for about 2 weeks so I decided to uninstall
and reinstall. After this I'm still getting the same message.
I sure hope somebody out there can tell me what is wrong and how to fix it.

On which version of Windows are you? Are you logged in as
"administrator" or as "limited user?"
