anti spyware

this might be usefull for those of you who run antispyware programs. there
has been recently problems with webroot spysweeper with its updater and
keeping freezzing. if you have this problem i was redirected with msoft
antispyware beta. i know windows sucks but so far works good.

does "the cleaner" any good? or even lavasoft adaware

ADAware is rather good, IME.

But I have always relied on Spybot... not that I have got any spyware
here.

Yes, MS's Antispyware program is very good. MS purchased the Giant company,
which makes the antispyware program, and thus, it is now MS Antispyware.
Giant also makes the I Hate Spam anti-spam program, although I have heard
nothing about MS utilizing or selling I Hate Spam.

"The Cleaner" sucks. I suppose it does its job alright, but it is waaay to
slow. Takes hours to scan a moderately sized hard disk on very fast
equipment. Moosoft's support is quite good, though.
