Anti Spyware

I had no trouble installing and it seemed to help in
eliminating most but not all of the pop-ups that have
been out of control recently. The problem and it is a big
one is that after installation, after a click my
partition of the harddrive (windows xp) it takes about a
minute to start up where it used to take a few seconds.
This is unacceptable so I uninstalled the anti-spyware,
and set my system restore to an earlier point in time and
now it starts up fast but I get more pop-ups than ever.
Prefer the popups to the ultra-slow start-up though. Any
suggestions?

Hinto, I had the same with pop-ups also, since my

homepage was hijacked too. I downloaded hitman pro, it's
all in dutch, but it worked really well. It;s not hard to
read at all. It got rid of my popups and got back to my
homepage.
