I do not want to upgrade!

Only solution I can see is go to a Browser different tan
Escape or Internet Explorer

Lavasofts ad-aware Personal SE and Spybot Search and Destroy are both free
for individual users, and excellent products.

There is no security in changing browsers--they all have security flaws and
bugs, and your experience in the long term will depend on the vendors
ability to get patches out.
