anti Spyware disappearing??

I have downloaded the beta version a couple of times now as for some reason
it keeps disappearing from my system. Ive definately not deleted it, tonight
for example i downloaded it, everything was OK, i ran the scan then later on
after about an hour i went to the pc and the programme had gone??? Anyone
else had ths kind of problem??? I wondered if it was maybe a virus or
something trying to get rid of my security measures. ut then again i know
nothing about this kind of thing!!!!

You probably saw scheduled scan pop up. It automatically disappears after
scanning, especially if its a quick scan. :)

no, definately not a quick scan, the actual desktop shortcut icon disappears
too????
