Anti Spyware Beta 1

Say more about those specific times. Additionally, is an administrator
logged into the machine at those times?

I have found Microsoft beta to be excellent and it tends to run at the
appointed time. However, the main glitch that I have found is that it
automatically allows register entries for programs like realplayer to join my
startup folder, without giving me the option to say no thankyou. The only
thing that keeps it in check is scotty dog, patrolling my register entries.
This allows me to deny realplayer. but it is constantly happening and I would
like to know how to stop it.

Hello Bill,
I have asked it to scan at 11.00am every day,but it never seems to,despite
resheduling many times. I am listed as the administer.

I believe you can control realplayer by the settings within the app--or, of
course, by uninstalling it. Quicktime, however--no such luck.

Microsoft Antispyware is not intended as a general purpose controller or
uninstaller--it isn't going to allow you to control arbitrary behavior by
apps which are not spyware and which you knowingly installed and can easily
uninstall. It remains focussed on true spyware.

OK--you haven't hit any of the "known issues."

May I suggest changing the time to 10:00 AM just to see what happens?

It will look very strange in the UI, but it should work. (alternatively,
simply select another time slightly later than the current time you are
testing at--to see whether re-scheduling seems to "kick" something.
