The text on my slides seems jagged, especially in larger sizes(> 20 pt.), as
though they're not being anti aliased. Am I missing an option somewhere?
I'm using PP 2000.

Suzanne,

On powerpoint 2000 the font smoothing (anti alias) is a feature of windows and not powerpoint.

Have a look in your display properties (control panel) - appearance/effects

There is a known problem with powerpoint not smooting the fonts if they have custom animations applied. This is the most
noticable with black text on a white background

TAJ,

Changing smoothing from Clear Type to Standard did the trick. Thanks.
