answers to questions

Why are some of the answers to questions showing on the same space as the
question and others you have to click in two different spots. Once on the
question and once on the answer. Just wondering and assuming it is in the
way you reply?

Threading can get disjointed from burps on the servers or a change in the
subject line (some newsreaders handle this better than others). There are
also folks unfamiliar with newsgroups that will (wrongly) create a new
message in reply to a thread instead of using the "reply to group"
mechanisms built in to their software or the web interface that they're
using.
