answering machine

Hi !
I'm looking for a freeware answering machine that would be compatible
with :
- Win XP sp2 and its fax app
- the pc-tel modem of my laptop (HSP56 MR)
I tried the V3 free call center, but it's nagware and also a piece of
s**t (imho).
Do you have any suggestion ?

EZvoice is nice and simple, but I found the volume of the outgoing message
too low.
IVM answering attendant has more features, but older freeware versions are
hard too find.

but ezvoice is not freeware at all !
