Thats exactly correct Sven. Satan has control of this world for the time
being.
Eph 2:2 KJV Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this
world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now
worketh in the children of disobedience:

2Co 4:4 KJV In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them
which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is
the image of God, should shine unto them.

Only the elect are free from the Devil's powers, and only the elect can
resist him. Satan has blinded and perverted the minds of the disobedient and
they are even more filled with their lies because of him. Many are under the
control of the devil and under the control of the flesh. Many live for
themselves, and do not live for God.

But you Sven have a choice to follow God, follow your flesh, or follow the
Devil. You cannot have three masters. There will come a day Sven when all
shall bow, and give an account of their lives.

Rom 14:11 KJV For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall
bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Oh puh-lease!

Believe me- I'm as atheistic as the next eternally-damned guy, but your
response was a bit ridiculous. Sven (kiddingly) opened the door with his
ironic comment (which I enjoyed, BTW.) The reply was no more off-topic
(or abusive) than the prior one that inspired it.

While this forum is more appropriate for posts about saving data than
those about saving souls, I don't think a kneejerk reaction from the
atheist's pew is required anytime religion is mentioned.
 
Agreed. I'm a bit surprised that BJ choose to start a new thread, as the one
this started in was already meandering. This probably wouldn't have gone any
further than that one sermon. Lets leave it at that, OK?
