My PDC-emulator is also my time server. Thanks to this newsgroup I had this
working fine. then I installed SP4 and it stopped working. I saw that the
NtpServer parameter was missing. I got KB article and made sure all was set
up again, but it is getting an event 54. since it is the PDC-emulator and
was the first PDC in the forest, what is its problem? I verified that the
router I am synching with is synching with external time services. I set the
NtpServer parameter to point to the IP address of this router. Any ideas of
what I should look at next?
