So many questions about synchronization and so little time to re-type the
reasons/explanation each time. Here's a first cut at assembling the reasons
for synchronization problems and what to do to improve your chances. If

Would it be a good idea to add a note about running through your
presentation once to get it loaded into memory, then running it for real? I
know this option isn't always available, but when it is, it helps a lot.

I'll add that. I was really targeting the distribution problems, but for
presenters using the same machine I'll mention the caching.
