Another question about fonts

I have downloaded a font type called MS LineDraw. It is a True Type font. (I need it for the graphics program provided by my county assessor) I downloaded it directly to the windows font folder, and its in there. I cannot find it when I search the available fonts in Word 2003 (office 2003)

I have copied it into the font folder from the control panel as well. I've done a search in Word about adding a font but there is no help category for that problem

Can someone tell me how to get Word to read the font? I have done a search for Font Folders in Word and it is either hidden or not provided. My default printer setting is HP 710.

Mark,

Firstly, this newsgroup is dedicated to Microsoft Access, the database
product. For questions such as yours, you should post to the appropriate
Windows newsgroups. But since your question is so easily answered, I'll do
so.

You can't just copy the font into the Fonts directory. It must be installed.

Go to the Fonts directory and select [Install New Font] from the File menu.
Since you've already copied the font to the Fonts directory, browse to the
Fonts directory. Select the font you want to install (do not select any
other font at this time), and uncheck the [Copy fonts to Fonts folder]
checkbox. Then click OK.

The next time you want to install a font, let Windows copy it into the Fonts
directory by ticking the [Copy font to Fonts folder] checkbox.
