There are plenty of posts indicating that if you get a message that another
program is trying to access your Outlook Address book, well basically blame
SP3. There is however a good reason I cannot blame that, I haven't installed
SP1, 2 or 3 having just rebuilt this PC!
I actually got the message when replying to another post when I was using
Outlook Express. I clicked Reply instead of Reply Group. I have Outlook
Express set up to share the Outlook address book using a method described on
the www.slipstick.com site. Also it only occurs if you hit Reply to a
newsgroup posting. Hit Reply to an email and there's no warning!
I am using Office XP on Windows XP. I appreciate the problem is occurring in
OE but it also involves Outlook so posting here first.
It is not a major problem but I am curious as to whether anyone knows the
answer.
