Greetings, the problem im dealing with is the following.
Several clients which have windows 98SE are not getting
their printers installed on our win2k terminal server.
They have various brands of printers(mostly HP and Canon),
which are also connected to USB or LPT. And they are using
either Remote desktop connector or the older terminal
client software to connect to us.
The server has SP4 and all security patches.
the server is a standalone in this domain(for security
reasons)
Ok, in the event log im not seeing any problems with the
printers, its like the clients arent sending any info
about their printers. But i have gone over all the
settings and everything is as it should be(i compared the
settings with clients that have no problems with their
printers)
I have tried lot of methods to fix this but nothing seems
to work.
I have tried following these documents; 239088, 302361 and
several others.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
