So, I have a machine running Win2k, right, but I want to upgrade it to WinXP.
So I boot the CD, and it tells me I need to update my BIOS. That's all well
and good, I have a dell, and it has everything I need to flash my BIOS there
(excuse me if I misuse the terminology.)
I get what I need and attempt to make the floppy on the machine itself, and
not one floppy works. I have a second pc, so I decided to try it there, and
it worked just fine. I bring the ready-made floppy back and try to load it,
and it still won't read.
Are there floppydisk drivers I could find somewhere, or something? Is there
a way I could update my BIOS without the use of a floppy disk?
Thanks for your help.
