Another Display Issue

Haven't seen this one before on any version of Windows...
so I'll try and give as much detail as possible.

Here's what just happened:
Selected a .jpg background file which loaded okay. But at
the same time, an IE 6.0 default page appeared on the
screen. It isn't a full screen display but has vertical
and horizontal scroll bars as though an F11 in IE with the
command menu just off the top of the screen. But I haven't
found out how to regain control or make it disappear!

The .jpg background can be removed just fine and the
system looks like it is running okay. Task Manager does
not show any unidentified or leaky service processes nor
any unidentified running apps nor is IE shown to be
running. System resources look okay.

Have cruised through all the startup locations I can think
of in the Registry and in other startup locations to no
avail.

Only happens on one of the user accounts. All other
profiles on the machine are normal. Suspect the user
profile got fragged, but don't know how and haven't
discovered how to fix.

Anybody else ever seen this animal and how to hang it on
the wall?

Somehow must've launched IE by mistake, then hit the F11
key by mistake to open in full screen mode, then minimized
the Explorer tool bar and moved the controls just off
screen at the same time and just out of reach.

Now what secret keystroke sequence can do all of that?

Disregard the message below. Found the problem.... user
error (mine - what a goof!). Only took 1-1/2 hrs to fix
this one. hrrumph!
