understand that I am posting I am not checking to see if this has been
reported.

I received a msg stating that there was a newer version of the SW available,
I choose not to download and install at that time. An hour later I decided to
run live updagte and it states nothing to download.

????????

Yes thank you Andre, I had seen that.

Here is another, i was viewing this message and the MSAS was running in the
background, when completed it came up stated no infections I clicked on close
and it would not close, I had to bring the antispyware pgm to the forground
before it would close.

LOL
Thanks again

Did you really find that you were already at .701?

Not only does this upgrade require user consent to install, but it also
requires a reboot to complete the install--there should have been multiple
prompts that you didn't see.....

There are a good many bugs in the beta1 product. Since the code has been
essentially unchanged since July, I believe most of them are known, and will
be fixed in beta2.

As described...
As I stated I come accross and then post, if it is knowen or not it does not
matter, you know now.
There should be a law that prohibits companies to release a product until
the current one is fixed, Windows 9X never got fixed with all of it's bugs, I
have a friend that can not go out and purchase XP, because of the expense, so
he has to deal with the bugs that he has.

I think I'll sugested it to a lobbiest friend of mine...

hummm something to think about.....
