Well there seems to be plenty of milestones being passed at the moment, and there is another "biggie" due on 20th November!

:D Microsoft Windows will be 20 years old.:D

For anyone who is interested, there is a "through the ages" summary in the December 2005 edition of PC Pro Magazine. It goes all the way back to "Windows 1" which I have to admit was just before my time, I joined around "Windows 3" in the early '90s.

Microsoft may well be 30 this year, but they were involved in developing DOS before they started on the WINDOWS systems.

That's why WINDOWS is 20 years old later this month:)

Still, wouldn't say no to a Free copy of Vespa, err, Vista ... AltaVista ... what the hell, I'll stick with Linux, I can spell that. ;)
