After I posted my last message I've done some investigating.
As one of my other posts mentioned, I no longer have a Group Policy
applied to my test OU which I put myself as a member.
The 'test' OU had a policy for folder redirection.
Originally the folders were redirected to:
\\<server>\Application Data\<user> (you can replace application data
with the other folders that can be redirected)
Now, the GPO for the 'test' OU no longer exists.
On the server I had created a folder called 'Application Data' where
the
users folder would be directed to (when the GP was working and before
it was deleted)
I've removed the share to "Application Data"
For my profile (Rob) I have roaming profile set (through the profiles
section of the user account) the path points to
\\<server>\profiles$\<user>
I am now trying to install an application (Citrix Management applet)
and get the following:
Installer Information
Error 1606: Could not access the network location
\\<server>\Application Data\<user>
If I reenable the share that I removed, it works.
How can I get rid of this since the GP no longer exists?
Thanks
Rob
