Windows XP annoying reapiting "error" sound

Every few secands I have reapiting sound with no obivious reason. Sound is common windows error sound. I have no idea how to fix it and what is cousing it.
Operating systet windows xp home edition sp2, Toshiba laptop, realtek AC97 audio card

Anyone can help me? I dont wonna install windows all over again
 
Minimise everything - do you see an alert?!

What is running when you hear the sound?
Try shutting down applications/processes one by one until you source the cause by process of elimination...
