How do I stop those annoying popup msgs from sites like:
killmessenger.com,byebyebeads.com,etc?

I have aol, and about every few minutes while I am
online, I get one of these msgs asking me to visit that
site. I'm sure they are selling software.

thanks for your help,

Elaine O'Donnell

Hi! Being a former user of AOL, I thought I would try to
answer your question. AOL version 8 has pop-up controls.
While you're online, go to options, or AOL Preferences, I
can't remember which but, there is an option to "click"
for pop-ups. If you're using a version older than this, it
will be worthwhile to upgrade. If you can't find this
option, go to their online support and do a search
for "pop-up controls". I used this for some time and loved
that part of AOL. Hope this helps. Kathy
