Annoying outlook quick launch icon

Every time i reboot my pc and start up outlook, a quick launch icon is installed onto my over crowded taskbar. i dont want this icon there because i already have a short cut configured into my quick item keyboard.

i've looked through tools > options / customize and i've found nothing relating to this issue.

if anyone has any information please help, i will appriciate it very much! thanks =)
