annoying obtrusive pop up ads - excessive spam

I inadvertantly entered websites as I viewed incoming
email via outlook

Now I have UNCONTROLLABLE pop up ads/spam

This has to stop - please help as I can't type a letter,
without being interrupted

I entered specific websites to block
I placed the cookie authorization on the highest level

what can I do without buying a pop up ad stop program

You need a firewall first to protect your computer. There are many free ones
available for personal uses - Zone Alarm may be a good choice for novice
users. The install the Goggle Toolbar that stops popups extremely well - I
personally use it. Also run SpyBoy Search and Destroy on your computer to
help remove spyware. --- Steve
