has anyone else noticed the annoying ghost window that pops up in the bottom
right hand corner of the desktop when using the vs .NET 2003 IDE?

anyone know of a patch or a fix?

Are you using multi-monitors? If so, this is a known issue that we
fixed in VS2005.

Thanks,

I was going to reply 'no' .. because i'm using an IBM T30 laptop (one LCD
screen)...

but then I go into the screen settings and I see it says '(Multiple
Monitors) on ATI MOBILITY RADEON 7500' ...

and there seems to be no other setting (sans MM) that I can select.... not
that that would fix the problem unless I was running VS 2005?

so nothing I can do?

thanks

I don't know of any workaround short of not using multi-mon.

I have also noticed this window, but when viewing the IDE through remote
desktop. When switching from the local desktop to the remote desktop viewer
I can always see it for a few seconds until everything gets redrawn.
