I am using MS Outlook 2003 (11.8217.8202) SP3 under Vista, and am often email a supplier in China.
This is what happens when sending a mail to them (and not to any other contacts it seems). It happens with a fresh message, or a reply.
I type a message, it looks fine, and I hit send
In "sent items", the mail appears to have randomly generated the odd chinese character, and particularly at line resturns, a "?" character. It often makes the mails difficult to read.
I have tried writing in plain text, HTML and rich text - with no apparent improvement.
It does'nt always do this, but usually does. Here is a cut and paste example :

1. Do not worry about any changes to the PP parts
2. Provide us with all test data from PP build(as previously agreed)
3. Validate the fix to the 揹ead unit?problem.
4. Ensure software function is in line with specification
