Annoying Button Problem - AntiSpyware Beta1

I was about an hour or so into a spyware scan using
Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1 when I decided to click on
the "Real-time Protection" button (out of boredom, after
watching the scan for so long).

Well, clicking on "Real Time Protection" button
interrupts the scan and puts you back at square one.

Now, I don't know about you, but some of us might view
this as downright annoying, if not unnecessary, certainly
unexpected, very un-Feng Shui, illogical and
ergonomically dysfunctional. Come on guys, it's common
sense, not programming. Be kind to us.
