Hi,
I have an "annoying and nagging" problem.
When I try to add a toolbar to my taskbar, I can do this in the usual way,
but when the computer is rebooted or

restarted, that toolbar is lost from the taskbar. When I delete the
Quicklaunch and the three toolbars which are

already on the taskbar, they will reappear when I reboot or restart.
The bottom line is that I cannot add any new toolbars, or remove any old
toolbars.
This problem only occurs on one of my machines. I am running Windows 2000
SP4 and almost all the security upgrades

from the Microsoft Website.
My other machines do not have all the security upgrades on them, and I am
beginning to think that one of these

upgrades is causing this problem.
Many thanks.

Harry

Sounds like you have a mandatory profile setup or something. Maybe try
creating a new user profile. Also, are you logging in as administrator?

Yes, it does seem like a setup profile problem, but which one ;-))
Yes I am logging in as administrator

Thanks for your help

Some toolbars are spyware. Try to search for spyware:
