Re your question, I didn't know it existed, but it is not new. I would have
seen it come up in the new newsgroups dialog on OE, and this didn't happen
in the last 6 months at least. There have been other new MS ng's but I don't
think that one is new.

Hmm. This is a bit "worrying" of sorts then.
On one hand - it does exist. So ANNs should go there - but if most users are
not even aware that its there.

Well, MS have a LOT of ng's and I just tend to find the few that I am
particularly interested in and go there. You could always try posting in
this or whatever ng and if it is OT then someone will no doubt let you know.
Also, I may not be representative of what others with a more full-time MS
focus may be aware of.
