Poppy version 5.2.0 was released yesterday. Poppy is an e-mail
notification utility with a number of advanced features. Changes in this
release:

Fixed a problem occuring when the POP3 address was an IP address
Fixed the 'Reset message counts after starting the mail program' option
Fixed a problem with the 'From' address parsing
Added 'Received On Blacklist' rule to check e-mail headers against an
anti-SPAM DNS blacklist
Added 'Only notify based on the selection rules' option
Bring dialogs to the front when the icon is clicked
Fixed a problem in the resize code of the headers dialog
Allow positioning of popup message including multi-monitor support
Added option to change the font of the popup message
Optimized retrieval of e-mail headers to increase speed
Double clicking an item in the headers dialog will preview the e-mail

You might like to consider adding to a future version deletion of
emails with attachments eg. Swen.

In other words make a "selection rule" such as ;

If size > 140K <160K

THEN a choice of.....

Select the message
Unselect the message
Delete.

Or perhaps ;

If the Body contains the RegExpr
"^content-type:.*(exe|com|pif|bat|scr|zip|cmd)"*$"

etc.


Or perhaps multiple criteria such as ;


The From field contains "Microsoft Corporation

or the To field contains "MS User etc.

Or

Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

and From: "Microsoft Internet Email Delivery Service

etc.
