Just a suggestion: You might want to put the one-paragraph description of
Firebird in your next announcement for those of us that do not follow Open
Source very closely so that we know what you're talking about.

I get multiple errors when trying to read the PDF document included in
the documentation download. It is complaining about missing fonts.

Thanks, i get only one message about missing font using Acrobat Reader
6.0, in any case i will try to review it for future releases.

Try to read the CHM file or the HTML (Javadoc format) documentation.
