I finally got the sound to work on the autorun cd I made, but now the
animations won't work.
I'm using PowerPoint 2000 and now using the old 97 viewer.
Any ideas?
April

Which specific animations? Are they animated GIFs? Or are they custom
animations with Hide After Mouse Click settings?

They are custom animations like fly, swivel, dissolve, spiral, etc... I've
used them on every slide for every text message and for every picture

Do *any* of them work?

And again, are they set with "hide after mouse click" settings or anything
like that?

None of them work. They all just appear instead of flying, dissolving,
etc....
No, they're not set with "hide after mouse click" settings. They're set not
to dim.

It sounds almost as if your animations were set up using PPT 2002 or 2003 --
some of the newer animations will do that when moving backwards between
different versions of PPT. But fly/dissolve/the basics like that shouldn't
be a problem.

Can you email me a sample slide or two so I can see if I can figure out
what's up with them? If so, please remind me of what it is I'm looking at so
I know which versions of PPT and the Viewer to check it in.

how do I email a sample slide?
