animations in PowerPoint 97

I use Powerpoint 97 quite often, and have many animated
graphics that were input into PowerPoint XP, but those
same animated graphics won't run on my home edition of
PoerPoint 97. How do I make it possible to run the
animations? By the way, I downloaded and installed the
PowerPoint converter. I doesn't seem to help.

Are those graphics animated GIF files? They will not run in PowerPoint 97,
support for animated GIFs started in PowerPoint 2000. You could use the free
PowerPoint 2003 viewer on your home computer to view those files.
